Kim Kardashian and husband Kanye West visited a centuries-old Armenian church in Jerusalem on Monday for the baptism of their daughter, North West.

The Kardashians fended off swooning fans as they entered the Saint James Cathedral in Jerusalem’s Old City. Kardashian, appearing overwhelmed, clutched the tiny girl as she was escorted by West, her sister Khloe and hooded clergymen

“Stop,” Kim Kardashian shouted to the crowd. “Stop! It’s not safe for the baby,” her sister added.

Archbishop Aris Shirvanian, an Armenian church official, said the family had arrived for a baptism ceremony.

“Kim Kardashian’s daughter will be baptized and become a Christian officially and a member of the Armenian church,” Shirvanian said, slightly perplexed by all the commotion. “All I know is that she’s a famous personality. I don’t know her in person. In any case she is welcome with her family.”

There were no details on the ceremony, and the family left the church without speaking to reporters.

The members of reality TV’s first family arrived in a private jet at Israel’s international airport on Monday for what was described as a private two-day visit.

All were captured on camera disembarking their plane and the images featured prominently on Israeli websites. They were quickly whisked away in a dark black SUV to a hotel in Jerusalem. Paparazzi did their best to keep up with their movements.

The celebrities arrived from a high-profile visit to Armenia, where the Kardashian family traces its roots.

They are expected to shoot some footage for their reality show in Jerusalem before moving on to Jordan.

Kris Jenner & Bruce Jenner Separate After 22 Years Of Marriage

Bruce Jenner no longer has to keep up with the Kardashians.

After 22 years of marriage and countless rumors of a split, Kris and Bruce Jenner have called it quits. The couple confirmed that development to E! News following months of speculation that a spin-off was inevitable.
“We are living separately and we are much happier this way,” the reality TV power pair confirmed to the tabloid news station. “But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority.”

The Jenners have maintained separate residencies for some time, but had always denied that was indicative of a troubled marriage. In November 2012, Kris told E! that she and Bruce had become used to humoring rumors they were destined for divorce.

“We just laugh it off,” said the 57-year-old so-called momager. “We love each other and just laugh about it. … These kind of stories have been circulating for the last couple of years.”
Bruce Jenner, 67, hero of the 1976 Summer Olympics, has reportedly taken up full time residence in his Malibu home while Kris Jenner remains in the family’s Hidden Hills, Calif., estate.

The Jenners married in April 1991, one month after Kris’ divorced her first husband, celebrity lawyer Robert Kardashian, with whom she had four children — reality TV stars Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and Rob. Bruce has four children from two previous marriages.

Together, they have two daughters, Kendall and Kylie.

Rumors of a split between the pair hit an all-time high last week when Kris’ sister Karen Houghton told In Touch magazine her big sis and brother-in-law were no longer an item.

“[Kris and Bruce] are separated,” she told the mag. “Their relationship goes back and forth. I would love to see them get back together.”

Masters of media manipulation they are, the Jenner’s announced their separation with impeccable timing Tuesday evening. Tabloids like IN Touch, US Weekly and People magazine had already put their upcoming issues to bed by Tuesday afternoon.

Here she is!

The world got its first look at Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s daughter, North West, when the rapper revealed a photo of the baby girl during his appearance Friday on Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner’s talk show.

The baby girl, born June 15, is the first child for Kardashian and West.

“To stop all the noise, I thought it’d be really cool, on her grandmother’s season finale, to bring a picture of North,” West said, clarifying that the couple has “not attempted to get paid” for the image.

During the talk show appearance, West talked about fatherhood and his relationship with Kardashian.

“I was in love with her before I ever even got to talk to her,” he admitted to his girlfriend’s mother on the show.

Referencing Kardashian’s past relationships with professional athletes, West joked, “I wanted to be with her so bad that I thought about picking up sports.”

“I can have people saying that this is going to damage your credibility as an artist or a designer, and I say, ‘I don’t care, I love this woman,'” he said, adding, “She’s my joy, and she brought my new joy into the world. There’s no paparazzi and there’s no blog comments that’s going to take that joy from me.”

Speaking about fatherhood, the rapper joked, “I’m supposed to be this musical genius, but I can’t work the car seat that well.”

He also said becoming a dad has changed his outlook on life.

“After I lost my mother, there were times I felt I would put my life at risk,” he said. “I felt like sometimes I didn’t have something to live for. Now I have two really special people to live for, a whole family to live for, a whole world to live for.”

Jaden Smith Not Emancipating Himself From Will Smith & Jada Pinkett Smith

Instead of discussing the finer points of their father-son sci-fi thriller After Earth (in theaters May 31), Will Smith and his son have spent the past week fielding questions about Jaden’s reported emancipation plans.

The costars first debunked the rumors during a joint appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show May 15. “See, here’s the thing that you need to understand: I’m not going anywhere,” Jaden told the 55-year-old talk show host. “The thing that people don’t get is everything at this house is free! So I can get anything and everything at his house, so I’m going to be there 20, 30 more years.”

In a May 19 Entertainment Tonight interview, Kylie Jenner’s 14-year-old boyfriend admitted he “wasn’t aware” of the emancipation rumors until the After Earth press tour began. “I didn’t know what was going on ’cause I don’t really go on the Internet except for going on Tumblr,” Jaden said. “I totally wasn’t aware at all of anything.”

Will added, “We try to avoid that type of stuff. It’s not true and we look at that type of information as, like, bad fuel.”

The emancipation rumors began after Will was quoted by overseas press as saying Jaden wanted to be freed from the legal guardianship of his parents. The 44-year-old explained that he made a joke in Tokyo that was taken out of context and blown out of proportion. “He’s never leaving me, ever,” Jada Pinkett Smith’s husband told DeGeneres. “No emancipation for the Smith kids.”

Being born into one of Hollywood’s most famous families has its perks, but it also comes with intense scrutiny. When asked if he feels compelled to follow in his parents’ footsteps, Jaden told Entertainment Tonight, “I just don’t feel the pressure of having to make people happy. That’s really what pressure is. You’re just hoping that people accept you. So, I really don’t care what people think about me.”

Steve Martin, 67, Becomes First-Time Dad

At 67 years old, Steve Martin is at last starring in his own real-life version of Parenthood! The New York Post’s Page Six reports that the beloved comic actor has quietly become a father for the first time, with his wife, Anne Stringfield, welcoming a child in December.

The Dirty Rotten Scoundrels star and Stringfield, 41, were recently spotted near their Los Angeles home with their newborn baby — whose gender and name have yet to be revealed. Says an insider to Page Six: “They’ve had a baby, and how they kept it a secret nobody knows . . . Steve’s very private.”

Actor, comedian, novelist and musician Martin divorced first wife, actress Victoria Tennant, in 1994 after eight years of marriage. He quietly wed Stringer — a writer and former New Yorker editor — in July 2007 at his L.A. home in a surprise ceremony officiated by former Nebraska Senator Bob Kerrey. Saturday Night Live creator Lorne Michaels was best man, and other celeb guests included Tom Hanks, Carl Reiner and Eugene Levy.

Of the new bundle of joy, Martin and Stringfield “are thrilled,” the source tells Page Six. “They worked hard to have the baby.” Martin’s rep could not be reached for comment.

Adele Wears “Angelo” Necklace: Is It Her Son’s Name?

Is Adele ready to share her son’s name? The Golden Globe-winning singer stepped out in West Hollywood on Monday, Jan. 21 wearing a new gold necklace that spelled out the name “Angelo.”

Adele, 24, welcomed her first child, a son, in October with boyfriend Simon Konecki. She has yet to reveal his name, but fans are now speculating that it could be “Angelo.”

Earlier this month, Adele explained to reporters backstage at the Golden Globes why she hasn’t yet revealed the moniker. “I am not sharing his name at the moment,” she said. “It is very personal to me and I just want to enjoy him at the moment.”

Though she has been lying low spending time with her newborn, the awards fest was her first night out since her son’s birth in October. “This is for my boyfriend who convinced me to do it and my lovely son,” she said when she won the award for Best Original Song for “Skyfall,” which was featured in the James Bond film of the same name.

Also nominated for an Academy Award for the track, the singer is set to sing “Skyfall” during the show on Jan. 23 — her first live performance since the February 2012 Grammys. “It’s an honor to be nominated, and terrifyingly wonderful to be singing in front of people who have captured my imagination over and over again,” she said of her song which is competing in the Original Song category. “It’s something I’ve never experienced and probably only ever will once!”

Kim Kardashian Talks Bizarre Breast-Feeding Plan (VIDEO)

The Kardashians may have taken the definition of sharing to a whole new level.

After jet-setting from Los Angeles to New York City, Kim Kardashian joined big sis Kourtney Tuesday morning on the Today show, where they chatted about motherhood, marriage, and breastfeeding with host Savannah Guthrie.

“[Kourtney] said, ‘Like one sister should babysit all the kids so I can go, and then whichever sister’s babysitting should just breastfeed all the kids,” Kim shared.

“I didn’t say let’s try this. But [Kim] did say, ‘Does that not freak you out?’ and I said, ‘No, it doesn’t.’” Kourtney retorted.

Drifting away from their silly banter, Kim, who is three months pregnant, admitted that she hasn’t quite settled into mommy mode yet.

“I think until I really start seeing a belly, it won’t really sink in. It’s just a weird realization, but I think until you start seeing the physical changes…you know, every day is different,” the 32-year-old said about expecting her first child.

Update: Kim Kardashian: I’m “So Blessed and Lucky” To Be Pregnant With Kanye West’s Baby

Going into 2013, Kim Kardashian is counting her blessings.

Just hours after her boyfriend of nine months Kanye West confirmed the couple will give birth to their first child in the new year, the pregnant Kourtney & Kim Take Miami star took to her blog to gush about their happy news.

“It’s true!! Kanye and I are expecting a baby. We feel so blessed and lucky and wish that in addition to both of our families, his mom and my dad could be here to celebrate this special time with us,” Kardashian, 32, wrote on her Celebuzz blog early Dec. 31, referring to her late father Robert Kardashian, Sr. — who died of esophageal cancer in 2003 — and West’s mother, Donda, who passed away four years later.

“Looking forward to great new beginnings in 2013 and to starting a family. Happy New Year!!! Xo” Kardashian blogged.
