Kris Jenner & Bruce Jenner Separate After 22 Years Of Marriage

Bruce Jenner no longer has to keep up with the Kardashians.

After 22 years of marriage and countless rumors of a split, Kris and Bruce Jenner have called it quits. The couple confirmed that development to E! News following months of speculation that a spin-off was inevitable.
“We are living separately and we are much happier this way,” the reality TV power pair confirmed to the tabloid news station. “But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority.”

The Jenners have maintained separate residencies for some time, but had always denied that was indicative of a troubled marriage. In November 2012, Kris told E! that she and Bruce had become used to humoring rumors they were destined for divorce.

“We just laugh it off,” said the 57-year-old so-called momager. “We love each other and just laugh about it. … These kind of stories have been circulating for the last couple of years.”
Bruce Jenner, 67, hero of the 1976 Summer Olympics, has reportedly taken up full time residence in his Malibu home while Kris Jenner remains in the family’s Hidden Hills, Calif., estate.

The Jenners married in April 1991, one month after Kris’ divorced her first husband, celebrity lawyer Robert Kardashian, with whom she had four children — reality TV stars Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and Rob. Bruce has four children from two previous marriages.

Together, they have two daughters, Kendall and Kylie.

Rumors of a split between the pair hit an all-time high last week when Kris’ sister Karen Houghton told In Touch magazine her big sis and brother-in-law were no longer an item.

“[Kris and Bruce] are separated,” she told the mag. “Their relationship goes back and forth. I would love to see them get back together.”

Masters of media manipulation they are, the Jenner’s announced their separation with impeccable timing Tuesday evening. Tabloids like IN Touch, US Weekly and People magazine had already put their upcoming issues to bed by Tuesday afternoon.

Miley Cyrus Flashes Butt Cheeks For ‘Today’ Performance

Miley Cyrus opted for an all-white ensemble when she performed in Rockefeller Plaza on the Today show in NYC on Oct. 7, where she put her butt cheeks on full display in a pair of shorts that barely covered her backside! From the front it almost appeared as if the 20-year-old was dressed quite conservatively for her early morning performance, however that clearly wasn’t the case when she turned around and flashed her butt cheeks to the world! Are you surprised or was she just being Miley?

Her billowing white crop top allowed her to flaunt her toned tummy and she dressed up the get-up with a statement necklace. She stuck to an all-white theme, pairing the loose top with a seriously short, tight pair of white denim shorts — in fact, the high-waisted bottoms were higher than they were long! The hot pants barely covered her thighs and when she turned around it was clear that they exposed her entire butt. They were like denim underwear! Now that’s a lot of cheek before 9AM.

Amanda Bynes Is “Making Great Strides Towards Recovery”

Is Amanda Bynes on the mend? The 27-year-old actress’ parents, Lynn and Rick Bynes, and lawyer, Mary Shea, gave an update on her health following a conservatorship hearing at Ventura County Juvenile Court House in Oxnard, Calif. on Monday, Sept. 30.

Through their lawyer, Tamar Arminack, Lynn and Rick Bynes released the following statement Monday regarding their daughter’s health: “Earlier this month, in a separate Lanterman-Pertis-Short proceeding, Lynn Bynes was granted LPS Conservatorship of her daughter Amanda. It is for this reason, and in an effort not to duplicate conservator rights, that Mrs. Bynes decided to withdraw her Petition for Conservatorship of her daughter in the probate courts this morning. The Bynes Probate conservatorship proceeding has been continued in part to December 17, 2013, for final determination and dismissal.”

On Monday, TMZ reported that Bynes has left UCLA Medical Center and moved to celebrity rehab center The Canyon in Malibu three weeks ago. Unlike the UCLA Medical Center, The Canyon does not have a psychiatric facility.

In their statement, Bynes’ parents addressed the report — confirming Amanda’s move, but not naming The Canyon or any specific facility: “Currently, upon recommendation by the skilled healthcare professionals at UCLA Medical Center, Amanda is receiving specialized treatment in a private facility outside of Los Angeles. Amanda is making great strides towards recovery. The entire Bynes family would like to ask that they be given some measure of privacy so they can focus on Amanda’s health and well-being. The Bynes family would also like to thank all of Amanda’s supporters and well-wishers for their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.”

Outside of court, Bynes’ lawyer Shea told reporters, “She is doing well. She is doing better.”

Beyonce Pulled Offstage By Fan During Concert In Brazil (Video)

This is what can happen when you reach out to your fans.

While performing at the Morumbi Stadium in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on Sunday, Beyoncé was happily singing and swinging her hair around when she stooped down to shake hands with fans who were right at her feet at the edge of the stage.

In an instant, one of them jumped up and pulled her down. It looks pretty startling in a video posted on YouTube. A security guard immediately ran up on stage and grabbed her to pull her back up.

Beyoncé seemed unfazed and kept right on singing Irreplaceable throughout it all. Later she even spoke to the fan saying, “It’s all right. … thank you, I love you, too.”

Zoe Saldana Marries Marco Perego in Secret Wedding Ceremony

Congratulations to Zoe Saldana!

According to Us Weekly, Saldana married Marco Perego, a soccer player turned artist, in a secret wedding ceremony in London back in June.

In May, the New York Post reported that the two were getting cozy in Los Angeles, while others insisted they were “just friends.”

The London ceremony was beautiful but very small, a source told Us.

A request for comment made to Saldana’s rep was not immediately answered.

Saldana has been previously linked to Bradley Cooper, whom she met on the set of “The Words.” Before Cooper, Saldana was engaged to Keith Britton, her boyfriend of 11 years.

Miley Cyrus Reveals Sexy “Wrecking Ball” Promo Pic!

Miley Cyrus isn’t slowing things down and just unveiled the promo pic for her upcoming single, “Wrecking Ball.” The sexy photo captures Miley’s signature style perfectly: lots of skin, hints of punk rock and tons of ‘tude.

The singer tweeted the snapshot to fans and accompanied it with a caption reading, “#WreckingBall #comingMonday #VEVO”

Get ready, Smilers, that’s less than one week until we have another Miley music video on our hands!

And it it’s anything like the “We Can’t Stop” video, her first single off of the forthcoming Bangerz album, it’ll be the talk of the town.

The famous Diane Martel-directed video was jam-packed with snippets of twerking, partying, and even a steamy makeout session between Miley and a look-alike doll.

The former Disney darling gyrated in an all-white ensemble throughout and was even shown getting cozy with a shirtless boy toy (ahem, not her fiancé Liam Hemsworth).

Miley’s live performance of the song at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards received tons of attention as well, for better or worse.

The 20-year-old broke her silence on the controversy days after and defended her duet with Robin Thicke in an interview with MTV.

“Me and Robin, the whole time said, ‘You know we’re about to make history right now,'” Cyrus recalled. “What’s amazing is I think now, we’re three days later, and people are still talking about it.”

So what’s in store for her next vid? Well, if the teaser pic is any indicator, we’re in for one wild ride.

Vibe Interview: Marques Houston Talks ‘Famous,’ Twerking And Child Star Pressures

Marques Houston has a résumé that spans 20-plus years, but success didn’t come easily or without a price. The singer/actor dedicates his latest project, Famous (released on Aug. 27), to fans who supported him through it all. After a three-year musical hiatus, Houston chats with VIBE about his new music, the new rules of R&B and his thoughts on Miley Cyrus twerking. —Terry Carter Jr. (@KINGBeysus)

VIBE: Famous is your first album in three years. How are you feeling about the response from fans so far?

Marques Houston: I’m very overwhelmed. I thank God first. And I have to say thank you to all my wonderful fans. The album came out at Number 2 on the iTunes R&B charts. I’m really excited. After three years, to be able to come back with an album and work so hard on it and all the fans appreciate it, it’s totally a great feeling.

Tell us why you chose the title Famous.

It started as an inside joke between me and my circle of friends and family members. I’ve been blessed with such a long career. Twenty-plus years. I’ve been known to do so many different things like Sister, Sister or You Got Served or Immature, and my solo career. So it’s one of those things where people are like, “You’re famous for so many things.” I would go places and people would know me from Sister, Sister and didn’t know that I sing or they would know me from Immature but didn’t know that I acted. They’ll just know my face and they’ll be like, “Excuse me, are you famous?” [Laughs]

This is your sixth album. How was the recording process different this time around?

With this album, it was more intimate because I had been away from the game for such a long time. The reason I decided to come back was because of my fans [were] hitting me up on Instagram and Twitter and saying, “Marques, we need a new album!” I had to give my fans what they were asking for. It was a lot more pressure knowing that I had the fans waiting on this one and wanting this one. I felt more attached because I wanted to make it great and I didn’t want to let my fans down.

What were some of your inspirations during those sessions?

A lot of my musical inspiration were the old school artists like Prince and Marvin Gaye. With this album I didn’t want to make it sound like anybody else album out there. I stopped listening to the radio, stopped watching videos. I didn’t watch TV for three months while I recorded the album. It’s blues, it’s rhythmic, it’s jazzy. I wanted to create what I call a masterpiece for my fans. I got involved with my fans on Twitter, asking, “What kind of music y/all want?” I really put my heart and my soul into this album. I want them to hear my passion and my love that bleeds through this album.

On the opening track, “Only You,” you sampled Marvin Gaye’s “Let’s Get It On.” Why remake that record?

I’ve always been a huge Marvin Gaye fan. He was the original King of R&B. The ladies loved him. We all kinda patterned ourselves after Marvin Gaye as far as being a suave ladies man. I didn’t want to remix “Let’s Get It On” because it’s one of my favorite Marvin Gaye songs. I wanted to put my own style into it and give the new generation of music lovers a new twist on that record.

Have you learned anything new about yourself while recording?

I learned that music is definitely my first love. Sometimes when you go away from it you start doing other things. Like Justin Timberlake when he started acting, rumors were out there that he wasn’t gonna make another album, but when he came back he came so powerful. As an artist sometimes when you’re doing other things you can kinda forget where your passion lies, but when you get back in the studio it’s like, “Oh okay, now I see. This is what I was born to do.” And that’s what I felt recording this album.

You’ve always been an R&B artist, but the genre has crossed over into electronic dance music lately. Thoughts?

I felt like it was in a state of 911 before, but when you talk about artists like Miguel, Frank Ocean, TGT and myself included, we are not bringing back R&B but we are reminding you why you fell in love R&B. Reminding you why R&B made you wanna make love. Made you wanna be in love. Made you feel sexy. Made you wanna go to the concert and sing along like, “Ooh, that’s my my jam!” [Laughs]

How were able to escape the child star curse?

I didn’t get hooked on drugs or alcohol. I was blessed with a great team of people that were always around me and always taught us not to get into those things. Not to get too caught up into the lifestyle. You have to have discipline. I think having good guidance is really, really important. As a child star and just in life, period. I never felt pressured, but I did feel like I wanted to grow up. Once I turned 20, I was like, “I’m not a kid anymore.” When I recorded my Naked album, I felt pressure to grow out of that Roger stage. That’s why I did the “Naked” video. It was just something to show everybody that I’m grown now.

Speaking of child stars, what’s your take on the new twerking Miley Cyrus?

Miley Cyrus, she’s a young woman. She’s not Hannah Montana anymore, so you can’t look at her as Hannah Montana and put her in that space. If she wants to get on stage and twerk, twerk Miley Miley, twerk. It’s her business; it’s her prerogative. It’s not our place to judge her.

Would you feel comfortable if your kids wanted to get into show biz?

Fame is a drug. It’s addicting. I never allowed myself to get into that. I always kept it separate. I knew that the entertainment business was my job and what I did in my personal life was my personal. I was blessed enough and I thank God that I was strong enough to be in this industry to take the good and the bad. Everybody can hype you up and say how great you are but that doesn’t mean you’re great. You gotta be able to take the negativity, too. If my children were mature enough to understand that, then I would. If I feel like they would fall victim to the success, I wouldn’t.

This year was the year of reunions, from Destiny’s Child at the Superbowl to N*SYNC at the VMA’s. Would you ever consider an IMX reunion?

Just to be clear about our group Immature, we’ve never broken up. We just kinda went our separate ways and did other things. We’ll always be a group. So as long as we’re a group, there’s always a possibility that there could be a reunion. You never know.

As a veteran in the industry, how do you want to be remembered?

I’d rather be remembered as a great person. The music industry is so fickle. One minute you can be hot, and the next minute you can not be hot. You can be forgotten. Being a great person goes a longer way. The music industry has become like high school. Like a popularity contest. People are more drawn to who’s popular as opposed to who has great music. Nobody pays attention to the music anymore. It’s more about who has the biggest controversy.

Will you tour? And what other projects are in the works?

I just finished a movie project with the Up Network called The Love Letter with Romeo Miller, Keshia Knight Pulliam and Jackee Harry. During my three-year hiatus from the music industry, I started my own film and television production company. We shoot three independent films a year, which I produce. I think what’s next would be definitely another album after this one. More movies, more TV. Another TV show. I’m in the world of entertaining. I love to entertain people. As long as I can do that I’m gonna keep going with it.

Chris Kirkpatrick: ‘N Sync VMA’s Reunion Reminded Me Why We Hate Each Other

Chris Stokes_NSync-reunion-MTV-VMA-2013

‘N Sync fans will have to hold onto the memory of Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards reunion forever — because the colossal boy band has absolutely no plans for a full-fledged reunion tour or comeback album. “No [tour],” band member Chris Kirkpatrick said Monday in a Florida radio interview with Johnny’s House. “This was for Justin to get the Video Vanguard Award.” Indeed, ‘N Sync’s brief medley of “Girlfriend,” “Gone” and “Bye, Bye, Bye” was just one segment of Justin Timberlake’s 15-minute set of mostly solo material.

Kirkpatrick good-naturedly joked that reuniting a decade after their last televised performance reopened old wounds. “It was funny because all of us getting back together, we remembered what we love about each other and what we hate about each other,” the singer, 41, said. “It was just a bit of fun.”

For Kirkpatrick, performing and dancing was definitely a physical challenge. “Honestly, when he talked to us I thought we were just coming out with mic stands and singing,” he admitted. “When I came home from rehearsals my girl’s like ‘Why are you drenched?’ . . .I’m too old for this! I was so worried about not messing up for him.”

JC Chasez similarly told Ryan Seacrest Monday that a full-fledged reunion is not in the cards. “No . . . it was just about five guys who were great friends who spent 10 or 15 years together touring and we wanted to give that back to our fans, but we were there mainly to support Justin,” Chasez, 37, said. “Literally, two minutes after seeing everybody you feel like no time has passed.”

Speaking with the Associated Press, Lance Bass also gave ‘N Sync fans the bad news. “It would be lovely to do [a reunion], but we’ve got nothing planned,” Bass, 34, said, citing Timberlake’s current world tour with Jay-Z. “Who knows what will happen when he’s off tour. It’s simply not part of the conversation right now. We just focused on that one performance .If we did anything like that, I think we would come up with something real special where we could actually call it ‘The Reunion.'”

Earlier plans for the group’s VMA performance included more stage time and ‘N Sync hits for all five men (Joey Fatone rounds out the group). “The guys wished it could have been more songs,” the source said. Regardless, “they loved being back together!”

Kanye West Debuts Baby North On Kris Jenner’s Talk Show

Chris Stokes North-West1_620x350

Here she is!

The world got its first look at Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s daughter, North West, when the rapper revealed a photo of the baby girl during his appearance Friday on Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner’s talk show.

The baby girl, born June 15, is the first child for Kardashian and West.

“To stop all the noise, I thought it’d be really cool, on her grandmother’s season finale, to bring a picture of North,” West said, clarifying that the couple has “not attempted to get paid” for the image.

During the talk show appearance, West talked about fatherhood and his relationship with Kardashian.

“I was in love with her before I ever even got to talk to her,” he admitted to his girlfriend’s mother on the show.

Referencing Kardashian’s past relationships with professional athletes, West joked, “I wanted to be with her so bad that I thought about picking up sports.”

“I can have people saying that this is going to damage your credibility as an artist or a designer, and I say, ‘I don’t care, I love this woman,'” he said, adding, “She’s my joy, and she brought my new joy into the world. There’s no paparazzi and there’s no blog comments that’s going to take that joy from me.”

Speaking about fatherhood, the rapper joked, “I’m supposed to be this musical genius, but I can’t work the car seat that well.”

He also said becoming a dad has changed his outlook on life.

“After I lost my mother, there were times I felt I would put my life at risk,” he said. “I felt like sometimes I didn’t have something to live for. Now I have two really special people to live for, a whole family to live for, a whole world to live for.”

Halle Berry & Jennifer Garner Join Forces To Support Anti-Paparazzi Bill That Would Make Photographing Their Kids A Crime

Halle Berry and Jennifer Garner have both been there and done that—and they’re so over it.

“I chose a public life,” Garner, who’s on the cover of the September issue of Allure, acknowledged today in Sacramento, testifying before the California State Assembly Committee on Public Safety in support of a proposed anti-paparazzi bill that would make it a crime for shutterbugs to photograph children without their legal guardian’s permission.

“My three children are private citizens,” she said. “I love my kids. They’re beautiful and sweet and innocent, and I don’t want a gang of shouting, arguing, lawbreaking photographers who camp out everywhere we are all day, every day, to continue traumatizing my kids.”

Berry, who also testified before lawmakers in Sacramento in June and has repeatedly tried to ward off paparazzi from bothering her daughter at school, had her own horror stories to share as well.

The pregnant Oscar winner said Tuesday that photographers have asked her 5-year-old child, “‘How do you feel, Nahla? You may not see your father again. How do you feel about that?’

“They say curse words and call me names, all trying to provoke some sort of response to sell a photograph.”

Senate Bill 606, written by Sen. Kevin DeLeon of Los Angeles, would change the legal definition of harassment to include photographing or recording a child without the permission of a legal guardian.

The proposed legislation is expected to be heard by the Assembly Judiciary Committee. Newspaper publishers have expressed concern that the bill could inhibit them from doing their jobs.
