Chris Stokes Is Getting Ready To Do It Again

Chris Stokes

Successfully writing, directing and producing the hit film, “You Got Served” (which grossed 48 million in the box office, generated over 100 million in revenue and began the worldwide dance phenomenon), Stokes has shown the industry that he has a proven record of commercial success. The two films “Somebody Help Me” and follow up sequel “Somebody Help Me 2” combined, helped the BET network and sponsors generate huge rating numbers on the channel, and also gross over 4 million in (DVD) home entertainment and television profits. Recently MTV Network shot a pilot of Chris Stokes’ family and businesses called, “Different Stokes.”

He recently released his pint version of “You Got Served” called “Battlefield America” this past June. The Stokes helmed horror flick “The Helpers” is set to hit theaters early 2013 which is sure to be a box office smash!

Stokes is now getting set to announce his third film. Sources say that the film will be an urban comedy set to release some time in 2013 but that’s the only information that is being released at this time. With Stokes track record as a director the new film promises to be a success!

Robert Pattinson “Only If We’re Married”

Robert Pattinson will only take Kristen Stewart back if she marries him. The 26-year-old actor, who was left devastated when his ‘Twilight’ co-star publically admitted this summer that she had cheated on him with her ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’ director Rupert Sanders, is said to be “desperate” to get back with the brunette beauty, but he wants her to “truly commit” to him.

A source said: “Rob told Kristen the only way he can forgive her affair is if she truly commits to him.

“Rob has wanted to marry Kristen for quite a while and he doesn’t want to get back with her unless he knows she means it for life too.

“Although Kristen broke Rob’s heart he has realised he can’t live without her. He never stopped loving her and he believes she still loves him.

“He is desperate to make it work and wants to give her another chance but not unless she proves she really wants it too.”

Robert – whose ‘Twilight’ character Edward Cullen marries Kristen’s alter-ego Bella Swan in the film franchise – had plans to pop the question to Kristen shortly before she broke the news about her infidelity, and while she has previously not wanted to rush into marriage, the 22-year-old star “will do anything” to win him back. Ryan Reynolds And Blake Lively Marry at ‘The Notebook’ Spot

When Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively said “I do” over the weekend, they selected a venue thousands of miles away from the hubbub of Hollywood, but Boone Hall Plantation & Gardens in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, does have ties to Tinseltown.

The place where Reynolds, 35, and Lively, 25, exchanged vows in front of 6o family members and friends on Sunday night has been the backdrop of several movie and TV productions. Most notably, scenes from 2004’s “The Notebook” were filmed there. You may remember that in the movie a young Allie (Rachel McAdams) and Noah (Ryan Gosling) visited her family’s summer home. Well, Boone Hall Plantation served as the family’s lavish estate. It was outside the historic home that they had lunch – and the well-to-do Hamiltons were horrified to learn that Noah, who worked at a local mill, earned a very small salary. Later, Allie and Noah went for a boat ride during which Noah stripped and jumped into the water. Her family looked on displeased as Allie followed suit.

In a funny twist, Lively actually dated Gosling in late 2010. Their brief time together, during which they enjoyed an ice cream date at Disneyland, took place after she split with her “Gossip Girl” co-star Penn Badgley and before she started seeing Leonardo DiCaprio in May 2011. Lively and Reynolds, who met on the set of 2011’s “Green Lantern,” started dating in October 2011 — less than a year ago.

Chris Stokes – Entertainment Mogul

Chris Stokes

A high-profile manager, producer, multi-instrumentalist, screenwriter, and director, Chris Stokes guided Immature/IMx and B2K, two of the most successful R&B groups of the ’90s and early 2000s (respectively). He also produced material by Bell Biv DeVoe, Shanice, and Debelah Morgan, and was part of the group Wataz (which released a 1998 album, Natural High), but he helped build something of an empire with the members of the groups he managed, parlaying their successes into screenwriting and directing. House Party 4, You Got Served, and Somebody Help Me each featured the likes of Omarion, Marques Houston, and other members of Stokes’ groups. In 2012, Stokes and Houston paired together again for the Stokes-directed dramatic film Battlefield America about underground dance competitions.
